Viral Product Videos

Today I have been watching famous product videos that went viral.

I heard about the Dropbox demo video from Eric Ries talking about lean startup.  This one was targeted to technical users and went viral because the fie names have lots of references.  The video on the dropbox site now is targeted towards more mainstream users.  The iCloud commercial is in a sense an evolution of these videos.



I read about the BirdHouse video in Mobilize, a book about app store promotion.  The video was made by Sandwich Video.


Here is a video by Dollar Shave Club that went viral and they took the deadpan thing to the next level.
